Job Description:

Main duties of the job include:

• Provision of the psychiatric component of the CAMHS tier 3 service to the under 18 population in the Eating Disorder CAMHS Team.
• Assessing a young person’s mental state, formulating diagnoses, and monitoring risks in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Conducting referral meetings and case reviews as required.
• Developing effective and innovative treatment approaches with the MDT.
• Supporting the development of internal clinical pathways.
• Providing consultation, advice, and support to professionals in the wider network involving the young person and/or family.
• Contributing to supervision of trainees and the specialty doctor allocated to the service.
• Facilitating case-based discussions and teaching for the MDT.
