Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust in Barking (Orchards Health Centre) invites a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the All Age Eating Disorder Service. The post is 8 Programmed Activities with a 6:2 DCC:SPA split, providing senior medical leadership and input across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Inclusion in GMC Specialist Register within 6 months of starting.
• MRCPsych or equivalent qualification required.
• Section 12 approval or eligibility within 3 months.
• Approved Clinician status or application within 3 months of starting post.

Responsibilities

• Organise and prioritise own workload and day-to-day activities.
• Deputise for the team manager when needed and delegate appropriately.
• Adhere to Trust protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
• Oversee risk management and update the risk register.

Education
