Responsibilities

You will work in a long-term locum contract at an NHS trust in Manchester, within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU). The AMU is a 49-bed unit managing acutely unwell patients who cannot be managed through Same Day Emergency Care.

As a locum consultant, you will cover an average of 10 PAs per week. You should be proactive, forward-thinking, and able to work effectively with emergency departments, general medical specialties, primary care, diagnostics, and critical care teams. The team maintains close links to provide optimal patient care.
