Job summary

Perth College UHI seeks a Lecturer in Construction to cover Carpentry & Joinery, Brickwork, Roofing or Painting & Decorating. You will deliver education and training to full-time, part-time, progression and apprenticeship courses, preparing materials and teaching theory and practical work.

Ideally qualified with SVQ Level 3 or PDA level 7, the role requires strong communication, teamwork and a drive to contribute to curriculum development within Built Environment disciplines. PVG check applies.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering education and training in construction trades.
• Good communication and teamwork to support learners.
• Ability to engage learners across full-time, part-time and apprenticeship courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare learning materials for teaching and assessment.
• Teach theory, practical elements and supervise student work.
• Contribute to development of Built Environment curricula.
• Adapt delivery to a range of construction specialisms and learners.
