Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Construction Superintendent to join our team. You will oversee all phases of the construction project from planning to implementation to finish. Must be able to lead, teach and mentor.

Responsibilities

• Diligent in ensuring a zero-accident philosophy is incorporated into all aspects of construction operations and ensuring all safety standards are being followed
• Address problems with manpower, safety, materials or customers
• Allocate resources for assigned projects; estimate and order material
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring work is fully executed and complying with contacted scope of work
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding work being performed
• Ensure job sites are always kept in a clean and organized manner
• Maintain daily written log of activities on each jobsite
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years verifiable experience in construction management
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards and compliance with PPE
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference and volume
• Must be able to read blueprints and execute
• Current valid driver's license and a cleaning driving record
