Job summary

Criterion Capital is seeking a driven Site Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of a major fit‑out project, transforming a commercial space into a high‑quality hotel development. You will take full responsibility for on‑site operations, safety, programme delivery, and budget control.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ site management experience, strong technical knowledge, experience on residential or hotel conversions, SMSTS and First Aid, and the ability to lead multi‑discipline

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing construction sites.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and safety.
• Experience in residential or hotel conversion projects preferred.
• SMSTS and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day site management and coordinate labour and subcontractors.
• Drive programme delivery, taking corrective action where required.
• Liaise with contractors, architects, and quantity surveyors throughout the construction phase.
• Represent the company at external meetings.
• Monitor progress against key milestones and provide regular reporting.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Motivate and manage site teams to maximise productivity.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and all statutory requirements.

Criterion Capital is seeking a driven and hands‑on Site Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of a major fit‑out project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming a commercial space into a high‑quality hotel development.

The Role

You will take full responsibility for on‑site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day‑to‑day site management and coordinate labour and subcontractors
• Drive programme delivery, taking corrective action where required
• Liaise with contractors, architects, and quantity surveyors throughout the construction phase
• Represent the company at external meetings
• Monitor progress against key milestones and provide regular reporting

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing construction sites
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, design, and defect prevention
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
• Experience in residential or hotel conversion projects (highly desirable)
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
• SMSTS & First Aid
