Job summary

Criterion Capital is seeking a Construction Site Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of a major fit‑out project, transforming a commercial space into a high‑quality hotel development.

You will take full responsibility for on‑site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing construction sites.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, design, and defect prevention.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
• SMSTS & First Aid qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day site management and coordinate labour and subcontractors
• Drive programme delivery, taking corrective action where required
• Liaise with contractors, architects, and quantity surveyors throughout the construction phase
• Represent the company at external meetings
• Monitor progress against key milestones and provide regular reporting
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation
• Motivate and manage site teams to maximise productivity
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and all statutory requirements
