Job description

Title: Construction Site Manager

Site: Cameronbridge Leven

Duties

The role is based at Cameronbridge Grain Distillery, which includes White Spirit Production and a Bio Energy Plant.

1. Coordinate and manage contractors, with a particular focus on H&S (Audits, Risk Assessment/Method statement approvals).
2. Write and control permits.
3. Carry out RAMS reviews.
4. Conduct safety coaching and toolbox talk rollouts.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards, including CDM and other H&S regulations.

Skills

1. Permit writing experience.
2. Attention to detail and a focus on Health and Safety.
3. Experience in management within the construction industry, including CDM experience.
4. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education

1. Experience and qualifications in construction trade/engineering.
2. Health and safety qualifications (preferably NEBOSH certificate or equivalent).

Work Schedule

1. Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 5 pm.
2. Friday: 8 am - 2 pm.

As a temporary contractor, you'll be employed by our Managed Service Provider, Magnit Global, who manage most of our temporary contract hiring. You will not be employed by Diageo.
