Job summary

Criterion Capital is seeking a driven Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a major fit-out project, transforming a commercial space into a high-quality hotel development.

You will take full responsibility for on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience successfully managing construction sites.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, design, and defect prevention.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in residential or hotel conversion projects (highly desirable).
• SMSTS & First Aid qualifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site management and coordinate labour and subcontractors.
• Drive programme delivery, taking corrective action where required.
• Liaise with contractors, architects, and quantity surveyors throughout the construction phase.
• Represent the company at external meetings.
• Monitor progress against key milestones and provide regular reporting.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Motivate and manage site teams to maximise productivity.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and all statutory requirements.
