Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Building Site Cleaner to join a busy construction site in Leicester on a temporary, full-time basis. The role focuses on keeping welfare areas and walkways clean, tidy and safe, with a strong emphasis on site health and cleanliness.

A valid CSCS card is essential, along with prior building site cleaning or related experience. You will support site management and be flexible to assist with other duties as required while wearing PPE and maintaining

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card (required)
• Previous building site cleaning, labouring or construction-site experience
• Good awareness of site health and safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Keep site welfare areas, walkways and work areas clean and tidy.
• Remove rubbish and maintain designated waste and recycling areas.
• Assist with general site housekeeping and maintain clear access routes.
• Support the site management team with cleaning duties as required.
• Ensure work areas remain presentable, organised and safe for all site personnel.
• Follow instructions from the Site Manager and work safely at all times.
• Report hazards, spillages, damaged materials or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment correctly and store them safely.
• Work effectively alongside trades, labourers and subcontractors.
• Maintain good timekeeping and a professional approach on site.
• Wear the required PPE at all times.
• Be flexible to support other general site duties when required.
• Undertake any other ad‑hoc duties as directed by the Site Manager.
