Job summary

James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd in North London is seeking a Construction Quality Manager on a permanent, full-time basis, with an immediate start. The salary is £56,870 per annum plus eligibility for up to 5% performance-related pay.

You will review drawings, coordinate with project managers and stakeholders, attend meetings, and lead site inspections, snagging, pre-handover and quality monitoring to ensure compliance, safety and value for money.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in construction quality, compliance and fire safety.
• Proven track record in resolving technical issues and coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in site inspections, snagging, handover and monitoring contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Review and scrutinise project drawings and specifications, identifying technical issues, errors and non-compliance
• Liaise with Project Managers, Employers’ Agents and internal teams to resolve technical and design issues
• Attend project, design, resident and site meetings, providing technical input and progress updates
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitoring quality, Health & Safety, fire safety and construction compliance
• Manage pre-handover, snagging and quality inspections, ensuring defects and remedial works are addressed
• Monitor contractor performance, invoices, requisitions and project documentation to ensure quality and value for money
• Provide technical advice on defects, fire safety and building compliance while supporting resident liaison and stakeholder engagement

Our client, based in North London, is currently recruiting for a Construction Quality Manager on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The annual salary will be £56,870 per annum plus eligibility for up to 5% performance-related pay.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
