Job summary

Newlon Housing Trust is seeking a Construction Quality Manager – Special Projects to lead quality control of remediation works, performing on-site inspections and addressing non-compliance to protect assets and resident satisfaction.

You will audit drawings and specifications with Project Managers to resolve design issues, ensuring low maintenance and cost-effective solutions while complying with building regulations including fire and structural safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Manager, Site Inspector, Clerk of Works or defects-based role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site inspections to monitor remediation works and identify non-compliance.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to address defects and ensure standards are met.
• Audit drawings and specifications for errors and omissions and resolve design issues with Project Managers.
• Ensure designs are low maintenance and cost effective for future maintenance and service charges.
