Job summary

Henley Chase is recruiting an experienced Project Manager / Contracts Manager to lead multiple site and office based projects across healthcare, education and residential schemes. You will oversee pre-construction through to handover, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Working between the office and site, you will coordinate teams, manage programmes and budgets, liaise with clients and consultants, and drive continuous improvement as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
• Experience delivering refurbishment, extension, and new build projects.
• Strong planning and programming skills with experience producing programmes and schedules of works.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from inception to handover.
• Produce and manage programmes of works and detailed schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, quality, and programme performance.
• Carry out regular site visits to ensure health & safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Resolve project issues efficiently to maintain programme delivery.
• Support the office with project planning, procurement, reporting, and general operational duties.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual and company requirements.
