The HACS Group is an independent Construction, Building & Civil Engineering services contractor based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Established in 1985 by current Managing Director Mark Smith, HACS has built a reputation for quality and reliability in delivering medium to large-scale projects of up to £20m.

Due to increased workload, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position managing projects valued between £3m and £20m within a 30-mile radius of Harrogate.

The successful candidate will work alongside our extensive team, involved in all project aspects from Pre-Construction to on-site management of staff and sub-contractors, health and safety, works programming, and liaising with clients and architects. Responsibilities also include overseeing materials and sub-contract procurement to ensure project quality, deadlines, and budget are met.

Experience and Qualifications required

• Proven track record in delivering construction projects on time and within budget
• Minimum of 10 years of Site Management experience
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes and industry best practices
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Project
• Strong commitment to quality, with a history of repeat business over 40 years
• Successful people management skills and excellent communication abilities
• Good IT skills and a minimum SMSTS qualification
