About the Role:

Our client are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major new build industrial project valued at £9 million. This is a pivotal role within their growing construction team, offering the opportunity to manage a high-profile scheme from pre-construction through to practical completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee health & safety compliance and implement best practices across the site.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and foster positive relationships.
• Track progress, manage risks, and produce regular reports for senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering industrial or commercial new builds (e.g., warehouses, logistics centers, manufacturing facilities) would be beneficial but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project controls.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management or related field).
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certification.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject) is desirable.
