Job summary

Skilled Careers is recruiting a Project Manager for a major contractor to deliver public sector projects in education, healthcare, government and local authority sectors from Brighton. You will lead resourcing, set strategy, and produce contract and construction programmes for schemes up to £15 million.

You'll manage site teams, attend Design Team Meetings and pre-starts, and produce weekly/monthly reports while ensuring compliance with Employers Requirements and NEC/traditional contract

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of delivering projects for Tier 1 or 2 main contractors.
• Managed teams on schemes up to £15 million.
• Solid knowledge of NEC and traditional contracts and PCSA activities.
• Familiar with design & build processes and PCSA activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver public sector projects including education, healthcare, government and local authority.
• Resourcing planning and setting strategy.
• Producing contract and construction programmes.
• Driving PCSA activities.
• Managing project team (Site Managers, Assistants and Trainees).
• Attending interviews and presentations.
• Attending Design Team Meetings.
• Early logistics planning.

• Chairing Project Review Meetings (client) and attending internal PRMs.

The role:

As a Project Manager within this business you will be responsible for delivering projects

for public sector clients which will include but not be limited to education, healthcare, government and local authority. Your role will include:
