Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Business Support Coordinator / Procurement Assistant for a site-based role in Motherwell. The successful candidate will support procurement across live projects, coordinating materials, plant and subcontractor packages while building strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Some purchasing or procurement experience desirable.
• Construction industry exposure is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the procurement of materials, plant and subcontractor packages for live projects.
• Raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.
• Obtaining and comparing supplier quotations to ensure best value.
• Liaising with site teams to ensure timely delivery in line with programmes.
• Supporting cost control and procurement reporting.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities with suppliers.
