Job summary

Established Regional Contractor in Derby is seeking a Construction Planner to join the team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed project programmes, coordinating with design, procurement and site teams on a range of projects across sectors, and ensuring milestones are achieved.

Ideal candidates will have some construction planning experience and be able to interpret drawings and bills of quantities.

Qualifications

Some experience in a construction planning or project planning role.
Understanding of construction programmes and planning principles.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.

Responsibilities

Assist in development and maintenance of detailed project programmes.
Support preparation of Design Deliverable, Procurement, Commissioning and Completion Programmes.
Assist with critical path analysis and monitoring to meet milestones.
Review drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities to develop build sequences.
Monitor programme progress and flag delays or concerns.
Develop integrated project programmes across delivery stages.
Review subcontractor programmes and ensure alignment with the main programme.
Maintain up-to-date programme information and reporting.
Work with site Project Managers and delivery teams.
Provide accurate programme reporting to the project team.
