Job summary

Amida Group is seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join its project delivery team in the UK. The role focuses on developing and managing detailed construction programmes across multiple projects, working with project managers, engineers and commercial teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

You will monitor progress, prepare progress reports, manage cashflow forecasts and assist tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Construction Planner within M&E, fire protection, or building services.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or MS Project.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodology and contracts.
• Experience managing budgets and producing cashflow forecasts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with NEC or JCT contracts and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed construction programmes across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and commercial teams to hit targets.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare progress reports and programme updates for stakeholders and clients.
• Identify risks and implement recovery strategies throughout the lifecycle.
• Support tender submissions with planning input and programme development.
• Provide guidance to junior planners and oversee project cashflow forecasts.
