Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on a live battery factory development in Doncaster. This hands-on, site-based role requires coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple work fronts on a fast-paced project.

You will oversee groundworks, drainage, precast installations and FRC works, with a strong focus on health and safety, quality and programme delivery on a large industrial site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of drainage, external works and associated infrastructure.
• Experience overseeing precast installation and FRC works.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, labour, plant and daily site activities.
• Strong focus on health and safety, quality and programme delivery.
• Previous experience working on large-scale industrial, manufacturing or logistics developments would be beneficial

About the Company

Our client is an established Groundworks, Civil Engineering and RC Frame contractor delivering major construction packages across the UK. They are looking to appoint an experienced Construction Manager to support the delivery of a live battery factory development in Doncaster.

About the Role

• The Construction Manager will take responsibility for overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required standard.
• The scope of works will include Groundworks, Drainage, Precast Installations and FRC Works.
• This is a hands‑on site‑based role, suited to someone who is confident managing multiple work fronts on a fast‑paced industrial project.
