Job summary

TES is seeking a Construction Manager Piping to support the Hinkley-Point EPR project in the UK. You will second the Overall Construction Manager and the contract manager for the designated scope, owning and delivering the piping scope in line with the strategy.

You will lead the piping team and sub-contractors, enforce company rules on site, and monitor activities daily, weekly and monthly. LEAN tools should be implemented to drive lean management, reporting and execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Relevant professional accreditation in PM, Construction, or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience coordinating a team in construction.
• Nuclear power project experience preferred.
• Experience on major construction projects.

Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering firm established over 30 years ago, specializing in test coordination and industrial commissioning. TES also assists its clients with their participation in design studies and the coordination of industrial equipment assembly.

As part of our activities, we have a position available for a Construction manager piping (m/f) on the Hinkley-Point EPR project in the UK.

Your role will be:

• To second the Overall Construction Manager for the designated scope.

• To second the contract manager for the designtaed scope

• Owning and delivering the piping scope as per strategy

• Managing the piping team and sub-contractor

• Implementing company rules at site

• Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of the activity

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree (or Equivalent)

• Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering)
  

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience of coordinating a team in a construction environment

• Proven track record in nuclear power preferred

• Experience working on major construction projects

• Experienced in delivering and operating at an Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including experience working within Joint Ventures
