Job summary

Technical Engineering Support in the UK seeks a Lead Mechanical for nuclear project Hinkley-Point to lead discipline LTQR records and interface with MEH teams. You will ensure timely LTQR deliverables, asset installation tracking, and compliance with nuclear standards.

The role requires extensive EDMS, Teamcenter use, and stakeholder coordination across multi-disciplinary teams on a major project. Nuclear sector experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Excellent IT skills with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and metadata handling.
• Experience in QA/control within nuclear or safety-critical industries.
• Proven ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across cultures.
• Major project experience; nuclear experience beneficial; alliance projects helpful.

Responsibilities

• Single point of contact for discipline-specific LTQR records and deliverables.
• Technical liaison with MEH Site and Assurance Leads on project tasks.
• Interface with MEH completions team regarding CTP/EESR deliverables.
• Ensure timely capture, technical review and issue resolution of LTQR records.
• Manage Area Discipline LODs, track asset installation and verification.
• Familiarity with Scope of Work, Contract Specs, Nuclear Standards, drawings and procedures.
• AS9 IWOC verification and tracking of task completion on Teamcenter after A-Acceptance.

Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering company created over 30 years ago, specializing in the coordination of tests and industrial commissioning. TES also supports its customers in participating in studies and coordinating the assembly of industrial equipment.

As part of our activity, we have a position to fill as Lead Mechanical for nuclear project Hinkley-Point UK.

Completions orientated Site Wide Records Discipline Lead interfacing with MEH (Mechanical, Electricity, HVAC) Area LTQR* Coordinators & Technicians, MDT and relevant stakeholders to capture & process discipline specific LTQR deliverables on time and in line with project deadlines ensuring completion and delivery of associated scope LTQR deliverables to support End of Erection Status Reports.

Accountabilities :

1. Single POC for Discipline specific records

2. Technical expert liaison with MEH Site and Assurance Leads

3. Interface with MEH completions team re CTP/EESR

Key Deliverables :

1. Ensuring discipline specific records (site wide) are captured in a timely manner, perform technical review & address issues to support Area LTQR Coordinators processing area discipline LTQR deliverables

2. Responsible for Area Discipline LODs management, tracking asset installation and record verification and completion

3. To be familiar witch the Scope of Work, the Contract Specifications and appropriate Nuclear Sta,dards, the drawings and the procedures.

4. AS9 IWOC verification and track task completion upon A-Acceptance of LTQR deliverables in Teamcenter

*LTQR s are one of the principal forms of objective evidence for quality assurance and conformance inspection and testing.

Mechanical Engineering or ONC/HNC/HND/C&G/Recognised Apprenticeship in relevant discipline and Competency based assessment.

1. Excellent IT skills and experience in applying electronic document management systems (edms) and associated metadata schemas.

2. Experience wording in a quality assurance/control environment within the nuclear industry or other relevant safety critical industry.

3. Proven experience of interaction and resolving issues with a wide range of stakeholders in a multi-cultural environnement
