Job summary

Mech Tech Professionals in Swansea is seeking a Construction Manager with expertise in EPC projects to lead the delivery of electrical, civils and construction works on a major infrastructure programme.

You will act as principal contractor under CDM, managing budgets, schedules, quality and health and safety performance, while ensuring NEC4 contract compliance and industry best practices on site.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction, electrical and civils projects.
• Extensive experience as Principal Contractor.
• Knowledge of EPC activities and contracts.
• Familiarity with NEC4 forms of contract.
• HSE management experience on large projects.

Construction Manager with expertise in EPC activities, construction, electrical and civils projects, and managing HSE teams .

• Permanent role - Swansea
• 75,000 - 85,000 pa
• Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
• Company Pension and Holiday pay

Summary purpose of role:

Working on a very large infrastructure project in Swansea, acting as principal contractor under CDM regulations, manage delivery of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) activities plus achieve and manage key targets related to budgets, time, quality and health and safety.

All Applicants must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Expertise in managing and delivering construction, electrical and civils projects
• Extensive experience as a Principal Contractor
• Expertise in EPC activities and EPC projects
• Knowledgeable of NEC4 forms of contract
• SCO 91 Certified
• HND/HNC in an electrical related discipline
• SMSTS, NEBOSH and CSCS
