Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of large-scale data centre projects. You will oversee installation, coordination, documentation, and delivery of electrical or mechanical systems, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and high-quality standards.

You will manage subcontractors, monitor schedules, review drawings, and support commissioning and handover, while maintaining strict document control and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager on data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of power, HVAC, and cooling systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Understanding of construction delivery and sequencing.
• Strong document control and reporting experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Engineering qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager to join our growing data centre delivery team. This Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager role will oversee the installation, coordination, documentation, and delivery of electrical or mechanical systems on large-scale, mission-critical projects.

As an Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, fully documented, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Relevant engineering qualification preferred

Desirable

• Experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager on hyperscale or large data centre projects
• Knowledge of commissioning and integrated systems testing
• SMSTS, CSCS, or First Aid certification
