Qualifications

• Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en gestion de chantier dans des projets ferroviaires.
• Expérience avec des contrats NEC est souhaitable.
• Formation en sécurité ferroviaire (PTS) nécessaire.

Responsibilities

• Superviser toutes les constructions sur site et hors site pour assurer la conformité.
• Gérer les délais, les ressources et les budgets des projets.
• Documenter les progrès des projets et tenir des registres précis.

Summary

A successful railway infrastructure contractor specialising in track installation & signalling is looking to hire an experienced Construction Manager / Senior Site Manager in the South of England

Seeking candidates based in the Home Counties or London Areas and willing to travel to sites as required. in these areas.

Duties include

Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project team members.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Document project progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare regular reports for management.

Requirements:

-At least 5 years or site / construction management experience on Railway Engineering projects
Permanent way project expereince desirable.
-HND/ HNC minimum in Civil Engineering or relevent subject,
-Experience working on NEC contracts
-Excellent communication and people management skills
- Commercial awareness of cost monitoring and cost value reconciliation
- SMSTS
- Railway Safety Training (PTS)
