Job summary

KONE is seeking a Construction Manager for our Lifts Installation team in Glasgow, Scotland. You will manage scope, schedule and budget while acting as the main interface with customers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and project profitability.

Leading the installation team and subcontractors, you will ensure proper resourcing, site readiness and safe operations, driving successful project outcomes in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction projects and teams.
• Strong stakeholder and subcontractor relationship skills.
• Solid understanding of project financials and costs.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge and practices.
• Valid driving licence required.
• Experience in the lift or construction sectors is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, schedule and budget from start to completion.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders for satisfaction and profitability.
• Lead installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring adequate resources.
• Manage site readiness, logistics and equipment needs.
• Monitor cash flow, forecasts and change orders.
• Maintain safety and security compliance on site.

Due to some exciting projects, KONE is looking for a Construction Manager to join our Lifts Installation team in Glasgow, Scotland.

ConstructionManager is accountable for managing the scope,scheduleand budget of the assigned projects. Manager acts as the KONE interface to customer and other stakeholders during the project withprimaryfocusoncustomer satisfaction and KONE profitability.

Key accountabilities at the role:

• Manage projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion at handover to customer and Maintenance

• Responsible for successful project start-up, project reviews, project reporting and facilitating

• Responsible for site preparations and readiness,storageandlogistics, and needed resources and tools

• Lead and manage the installation team, including subcontractors, plan and ensure sufficient project resourcing and competences, responsible for site operatives’ motivation

• Accountable for proactively managing customer communication throughout the project, ensure professional stakeholder management

• Accountable for the project’s financial planning and forecasting, cash flowmanagementand revenue management (capitalizing on change order opportunities)

• Create andmaintainsafety and security awareness amongst employees and subcontractors in the project. Ensure following of KONE’s and customer’s safety and security policies
