Job summary

West Suffolk College is seeking a qualified Lecturer in Construction Management to develop and deliver Construction and Construction Management courses at our Built Environment Campus. You will plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality teaching across Apprenticeships, full-time and part-time FE/HE programmes, T Levels and other short courses.

You will be expected to develop schemes of work, lesson plans, learning resources and assessment materials, ensuring engaging, inclusive and high-quality

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least Level 6 in Construction Management.
• Experience in Further and Higher Education teaching and curriculum development is desirable.
• Ability to develop schemes of work, lesson plans, learning resources and assessment materials.
• Strong employer engagement to support learners and programmes.
• Familiarity with T Levels in Construction is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality teaching across Apprenticeships, full-time and part-time FE/HE programmes, T Levels and short courses.
• Develop and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans, learning resources and assessment materials.
• Support learners to achieve qualifications through teaching, assessment and progress monitoring; engage with employers.
