A large, modern Further Education college in Aylesbury is offering a Construction Instructor role with full teacher training provided. The successful candidate will deliver practical construction sessions, support learners in the workshop, and ensure a safe learning environment, preparing equipment for activities.

No previous teaching experience is required; the college supports and funds teacher training and offers a clear path into teaching, with a Monday to Friday schedule and good pension

In this role, you will work alongside experienced lecturers, delivering practical Construction sessions, supporting learners in the workshop, maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for practical activities. You will also supervise learners during practical sessions, reinforce key skills and help students develop the confidence and practical ability needed to succeed in industry.

The ideal candidate will have practical Construction experience, a Level 2 qualification or above in a Construction-related discipline and a good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or site environment. You will be enthusiastic about developing others and looking for a long-term career in education.
