Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a proactive Business Skills Advisor to support employers and colleges across Warwickshire, helping to broker connections between industry and education. The role focuses on building talent pipelines, coordinating activities and reducing duplication to strengthen construction education and workforce development.

You will work across providers to enable employer-led activities, guest lectures, workshops and CPD for FE construction staff, ensuring fair access

Qualifications

• Experience in employer engagement and partnership working.
• Knowledge of skills brokerage and construction-related workforce development.
• Strong organisation, communication and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activity through a central brokerage model, linking employers with colleges and providers.
• Match construction organisations with teaching opportunities, guest lectures, demonstrations and workshops.
• Support CPD opportunities for FE construction teachers to spend time in industry.
