Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is supporting a family-run SME contractor delivering refurbishment and fit-out projects up to £3m across the public sector in Leicester. They seek a Health and Safety Advisor to lead safety, maintain systems, drive compliance and embed a positive safety culture on site.

You will perform RAMS and Construction Phase Plan reviews, audits, inductions, and incident investigations, while supporting SafeContractor and ConstructionLine accreditations.

Qualifications

• Independent work and strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience or exposure in construction environments is preferred but not required.
• NEBOSH General Construction certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day health and safety across multiple projects (Leicestershire area).
• Write and review Construction Phase Plans and RAMS.
• Conduct site audits, toolbox talks, and inductions.
