Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor for a leading Midlands groundworks and civils contractor. Based at the Northamptonshire office, you will travel to sites within a 40‑mile radius to provide hands‑on safety support.

You will conduct site audits, advise on high‑risk operations, investigate incidents, and liaise with stakeholders on health and safety matters. A construction or civils background is preferable; NEBOSH accreditation is required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH accreditation is required.
• CSCS card is essential.
• A construction or civils background is preferable.

Responsibilities

• All health and safety matters across multiple live construction sites.
• Site audits and safety inspections.
• Safety support and reporting to management.
• Investigate incidents and accidents on site.
• Keep up to date on new legislation and compliance.
