Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a respected, family-run construction firm in Twickenham recruit a Construction Estimator (Foundations / Civil Engineering / Geotechnical). The role is hybrid and pays £70,000–£80,000 with progression, full training and benefits.

In this position you’ll produce accurate, value‑engineered estimates, build strong client relationships and manage projects from enquiry to contract award.

Qualifications

• Estimator background and construction costing experience.
• Ability to produce accurate value‑engineered estimates.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks and opportunities in tenders to produce accurate estimates
• Support Quantity Surveying functions and post-project reviews
• Visit heritage buildings to perform estimations on ground works, piling and basements
