Job summary

Fawkes and Reece in Wales is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our residential development team. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for residential developments across South Wales, ensuring competitive pricing and commercial viability.

You will work closely with the commercial and technical teams to review drawings, specifications and documentation, obtain subcontractor quotations, and carry out material and labour take-offs to support successful

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of housebuilding costs.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and schedules.
• Knowledge of subcontractor and supplier markets in South Wales.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.

We are currently working with an established residential developer who are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their team in South Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders across a range of residential developments, working closely with the commercial and technical teams to ensure projects are competitively priced and commercially viable.
