Job summary

Rainford Berry in London is seeking an experienced ERP Consultant to support the implementation of specialist ERP and financial systems in the UK construction sector. You will be a key part of the delivery and implementation team, configuring and delivering finance solutions and guiding clients through adoption.

You will lead workshops, train users, manage go-live, and develop dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decision making for finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Construction finance experience in the UK, including payroll, with project accounting knowledge.
• ERP or financial systems implementation experience, translating finance processes into system configurations.
• Deep knowledge of CIS regulations, HMRC returns, subcontractor deductions and weekly payroll cycles.
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills, MIS reporting, financial controls and audit support.
• Confident in leading workshops, training users and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• ERP configuration across Accounts, Billing, AP/AR, Job Costing, Payroll, CIS and Project Accounting.
• Design charts of accounts, ledgers, WIP and retention accounting, project budgets and cost heads.
• Configure payroll workflows and CIS deductions with HMRC-compliant reporting.
• Migrate data and validate balances, reconciliations, and end-to-end system readiness.
• Lead finance-user training, manage go-live, and drive adoption post deployment.
• Build dashboards, financial reports and KPI tracking for finance leadership.
