Job summary

QC Legal in Manchester seeks a qualified solicitor with 1-4 years’ PQE in construction and engineering law to work across a genuine mix of transactional and contentious matters. You will develop experience on procurement, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution for a diverse national and international client base.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years’ PQE in construction and engineering law.
• Background in contentious and/or non-contentious construction work.
• Interest in developing a broader practice spanning transactional and disputes work.

Responsibilities

• Work across a mix of transactional and contentious construction and engineering matters.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction documents.
• Assist with adjudications, litigation, mediation and other dispute resolution methods.
• Engage with a diverse client base including developers, funders, contractors and consultants.
• Build experience across energy and infrastructure projects.
