Job summary

Bradford College is seeking an Employer Partnership Officer to build strategic relationships with construction employers across West Yorkshire, creating high-quality industry placements for learners.

The role focuses on bridging education and employment, developing sustainable employer partnerships, and supporting progression to apprenticeships, jobs and further training within a fixed-term contract running until July 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience of employer engagement, business development or partnership working.
• Experience of developing relationships with employers and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of the construction industry and workforce challenges.
• Experience of meeting performance targets and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Experience of working with young people, education providers or skills programmes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage and develop relationships with construction employers across West Yorkshire.
• Generate new work placement opportunities for learners in construction.
• Lead on sourcing, negotiation and establishment of work placements for Level 2/3 learners.
• Coordinate employer onboarding and ensure documentation is completed.
• Monitor placement capacity and forecast future placement requirements.
