Job summary

Salford City College Group is seeking a dynamic Teacher of Professional Construction for The University Centre's HE & Professional Department in Salford. You will teach across Construction and Built Environment subjects, with emphasis on industry relevance, assessment, and progression to higher qualifications such as BTEC Level 3 and HNC/HND courses.

A related degree and teaching qualification are preferred, but strong industry experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in Construction with QS or Building Services specialisms.
• Ability to teach topics such as Digital applications, Surveying, Tender & Procurement, Site Operations.
• Desirable AutoCAD, REVIT and BIM proficiency.
• Teaching qualification or evidence of industry experience and ability to teach.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Construction and Built Environment subjects.
• Assess and support learners on various courses including BTEC, HNC, HND.
• Apply industry knowledge to real-world exercises and projects.
