Our client, a Top 50 law firm in London, is seeking to hire a construction disputes lawyer for a contract lasting 6-12 months, with the potential for a permanent position. The successful candidate must be available immediately or at short notice due to the start date.
The team represents a diverse range of clients from the public and private sectors, including local authorities, NHS trusts, educational institutions, funders, developers, contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants.
The role involves handling adjudication, litigation, and arbitration, advising on potential disputes, and disputes related to industry-standard construction contracts such as JCT and NEC.
Applicants should be qualified in England & Wales or another Commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g., Australia, New Zealand) and have over 2 years of PQE in construction disputes. Experience at a leading City, international, or top-tier regional firm is highly desirable.
