Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Director (Clean Energy) to lead the construction function on major infrastructure projects across the UK, starting with a flagship project in the Sheffield area. The role is hybrid in Wakefield with senior responsibility for programme, budget, quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Senior-level construction/infrastructure delivery experience.
• Strong client-side or developer-side background.
• Strong commercial and contract management experience.
• Experience across pre-construction and live project delivery.
• Experience with JCT, NEC or similar contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead major infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Take responsibility for programme, budget, quality, risk and H&S.
• Lead and develop the construction team.
• Control variations, costs, programmes and contractor performance.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting and commercial performance.
