Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Director to join a growing multi-disciplinary contractor in the UK, based in Potters Bar or Romford. You will lead strategic and operational delivery across multiple projects, ensuring safety, on-time and within budget performance.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will implement new processes, develop operational teams, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement.

Salary: Up to £120,000 + Package

Our client, a well-established and growing multi-disciplinary construction company, is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Director to join their senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Company Owner, this is a key appointment that will play a pivotal role in driving operational performance, improving business processes, and supporting the company's continued growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional who has a proven track record of leading large operational teams and delivering cladding remediation and/or social housing projects.

The Role

As Construction Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple projects, ensuring programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for reviewing, implementing and improving business processes and systems to drive consistency, efficiency and performance across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing leadership across construction operations.
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Company Owner.
