Initially hands-on with live projects, you will drive commercial performance, build a management team and client base, and progress towards Managing Director with potential equity as the business grows.

Construction Director / Future Managing Director Prime Central London | £up to circa £135,000 (with some wiggle room) + Bonus + Future Equity Stake

The Opportunity Borne Resourcing are working with an established Prime Central London property investment and development group looking to appoint a Construction Directorto take ownership of its construction business.

Originally established to deliver the group's own development projects, the construction company has increasingly attracted enquiries from external private clients for high-end residential refurbishments, including super-prime properties and listed buildings.

The business has already had to turn down opportunities due to its existing capacity and structure.

The owner now wants to capitalise on this demand and develop the construction arm into a substantial, independently managed business, allowing him to concentrate on the group's property development activities.

This is not an established large contractor with an extensive management team. It is a smaller, functioning construction business with existing projects, relationships, financial backing and significant growth potential.

The ambition is to build a construction company with a valuation of approximately £25m.

For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity for someone to join as a Construction Director and progress into the Managing Director position, with potential equity participation as the business develops.

Initially, the role will be hands-on, taking responsibility for existing projects, commercial performance, subcontractors and quality. Longer term, the successful candidate will build the management team, expand the external client base and drive profitable growth.
