Job summary

Manpower Recruitment UK is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead multiple construction and roofing contracts from pre-start to completion in Oxfordshire and across the UK. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget, working closely with clients, the management team, QSs, site managers and subcontractors.

ISO 45001 and CDM compliance are essential. Ideal candidates will have government/public sector contract exposure, social housing experience, and

Qualifications

• Proven contracts management or senior construction experience.
• Experience in government/public sector contracts.
• Experience in social housing and planned maintenance.
• Good working knowledge of ISO 45001.
• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS Management/Professional card.
• Strong knowledge of CDM, RAMS and UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent commercial, contractual and organisational skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors, labour and suppliers.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable qualifications: NVQ Level 6/7, HNC/HND or degree in Construction Management, MCIOB, IOSH or NEBOSH.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of roofing and construction contracts across the UK, including government, public sector and social housing projects.

The role is paying a starting salary of £60,000pa

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for managing multiple contracts from pre-start through to successful completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards

You’ll work closely with clients, our management team, Quantity Surveyors, site managers, operatives, subcontractors and suppliers.
