Job summary

Elevate is seeking an experienced Commercial/Construction Solicitor to support a range of important construction, infrastructure and commercial projects.

Location: Farringdon – 2 days per week. Duration: 5-month FTC. You will advise senior managers and directors, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and handle contract interpretation and disputes with a pragmatic, business-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK.
• Around 5 years PQE, although candidates with relevant experience outside this range will be considered.
• Strong experience in construction and/or commercial contracts.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial and construction agreements.
• NEC/NEC4 experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across construction, infrastructure and commercial projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial and construction agreements.
• Advise on contract interpretation and disputes.
• Advise senior managers and directors with pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.
