Job summary

Elevate Legal Talent in London is seeking an experienced Commercial or Construction Solicitor to support high-value construction, infrastructure and commercial projects on a 5-month Fixed-Term Contract. The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements and advising on contract interpretation and disputes.

UK-qualified with a valid practising certificate, NEC/NEC4 experience is highly desirable and in-house experience is welcome.

Qualifications

UK-qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
Strong experience across construction and/or commercial contracts.
Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial and construction agreements.
NEC / NEC4 experience is highly desirable.
Experience with IT contracts, professional services, supply and service agreements.
Exposure to utilities, infrastructure, energy or public procurement is desirable.
Experience advising on contract interpretation and disputes.
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.
Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence advising senior managers and directors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In-house experience preferred, but not essential.
