Job summary

Elevate Legal Talent is seeking an experienced Commercial or Construction Solicitor to join a leading organisation and provide legal support across strategically important construction, infrastructure and commercial projects.

Location: Farringdon, London. Working pattern: 2 days per week in the office. Duration: 5-month Fixed-Term Contract. You will work closely with senior management and internal teams to ensure robust commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
• Experience across construction and/or commercial contracts.
• Ability to draft, review and negotiate complex commercial and construction agreements.
• NEC/NEC4 experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with IT contracts, professional services, and supply agreements.
• Exposure to utilities, infrastructure, energy or public procurement is desirable.
• Experience advising on contract interpretation and disputes.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence advising senior managers and directors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-house experience preferred, but not essential.
