Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Buyer (Construction) in Potters Bar to manage purchasing for construction materials, refrigeration items, plant hire and skips. You will liaise with suppliers to meet project requirements and benefit from in-house training and flexible hours.

The role supports an established construction company serving the food and drink sectors, offering progression into senior positions and a varied purchasing remit. Commutable to Potters Bar is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction buying or purchasing roles.
• Ability to raise and process purchase orders and manage supplier relationships.
• Comfortable liaising with internal teams to meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing materials, equipment and subcontract services from approved suppliers.
• Raising and processing purchase orders.
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Mon - Fri (Flexible hours).
