Job summary
The People Pod in Gloucester is seeking a Conservatory Installer / Window Fitter (UPVC) for a permanent PAYE role. You will focus on conservatory roof removal and replacement, with strong installation skills for UPVC products. Full driving licence and on-site problem-solving are required.
Salary up to £41,600 with weekly pay (£800), plus overtime and bonus. Company van, fuel card and tools provided, plus 28 days holiday and pension.
Qualifications
- Strong experience installing and replacing conservatories and conservatory roofs.
- Window and door fitting experience (UPVC).
- NVQ Level 2 in Fenestration preferred.
Responsibilities
- Remove and replace conservatory roofs using hand and power tools (primary focus).
- Install and repair conservatories to insurance standards.
- Fit windows, doors, and UPVC products where required.
- Take accurate site measurements and carry out bespoke adjustments.
- Complete repair and replacement works professionally and efficiently.
- Clear site and maintain professional presentation.
- Support and mentor assistant fitters.
- Work independently while maintaining high safety standards.
