Job summary

Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority is seeking a dedicated professional to manage land projects across the Dales. The role focuses on delivering a Wading Bird Conservation Project, building on pilots and executing capital works and habitat improvements to support upland breeding wader populations.

You will also contribute to the Wildlife Rich Habitat Fund, helping to design and deliver conservation initiatives that advance nature recovery in the National Park.

Qualifications

• Experience of formulating, project managing and delivering land management projects.
• Experience of working with multiple partners and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Strong planning skills and the ability to translate strategy into practical project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Dales-wide Wading Bird Conservation Project, building on pilot work and delivering capital works and habitat improvements for upland breeding wader populations.
• Contribute to the Wildlife Rich Habitat Fund and help develop and deliver conservation projects that support nature recovery.
