Introduction

This role has been created due to business expansion into aerospace connectivity markets. It is a program management position suitable for candidates with experience in aircraft connectivity development or modification projects.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for the company with worldwide airline customers
  • Own the program from delivery schedule to quality standards and financial controls from award to final delivery
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities to enhance program performance
  • Lead internal teams to meet program requirements
  • Coordinate internal activities to ensure tasks align with program goals
  • Lead major milestone meetings with customers (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI), document minutes and actions
  • Communicate customer expectations to the Engineering team for alignment
  • Provide weekly status updates, milestone schedules, and risk summaries
  • Report program status, financial health, and key issues to senior management
  • Manage customer change requests and support proposals impacting schedule and costs
  • Initiate invoicing and follow up on payments
  • Assist in proposal creation in response to customer RFPs
Work Authorization

This position is for a locally hired candidate in the UK with current legal authorization to work. No immigration or sponsorship assistance will be provided.

Benefits and pay are determined locally and are not part of Boeing U.S. payroll. No relocation support is provided.

Qualifications
  • Qualification in Program Management or equivalent (PMP, CPM, etc.) preferred
  • Experience in aircraft modification or connectivity projects advantageous
  • Engineering background, ideally in aerospace
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
  • Ability to travel at short notice
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently
  • BS Degree in STEM or equivalent experience in aerospace business
