Job summary

National Energy System Operator Limited is seeking a Connections Contract Manager for a 12-month maternity cover based in the UK. You will lead the customer connections journey, coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver timely connection projects while aligning with codes and regulatory requirements.

The role demands resilience and strong commercial insight. The role supports hybrid working with weekly office presence and is open to both full-time and part-time

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with customers leading to dispute resolution.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of Grid Code, CUSC, STC and governance structures and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks, both internally and with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to explain contractual issues to customers in simple terms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external customers and stakeholders to deliver and maintain customer connection projects.
• Own the relationship with a portfolio of customers and develop contracts; proactively manage commercial solutions.
• Apply contract knowledge to improve value and resolve customer queries.
• Identify connection risks and develop mitigations across projects.
• Record and manage data in systems in compliance with licence, industry codes and GDPR.
